me in warmer climes

I’m a graduate student in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle.  Before returning to grad school to study Earth’s climate, I got a masters degree studying the atmosphere of Mars.  This was preceded by a broad education in physical sciences and other liberal arts, majoring in physics at Wesleyan University.

I won’t deny that I have interests that extend beyond science to include policy and writing.  I think it’s consistent to wear multiple hats in my quest to be a modern day Renaissance person.
